Paws Around Town – Walk-For-The-Animals
On Saturday, September 27th the sun will shine on scores of people and dogs as they walk the streets of Springfield so homeless animals won’t have to.
Springfield Humane Society’s annual walk-a-thon (with a financial goal of $5000) will begin and end at Riverside Middle School in Springfield. People, with or without dogs, will be walking an easy 2 miles to raise funds to care for the hundreds of companion animals we handle each year.
The first 50 participants who register with at least $50 in collected pledges will receive a specially designed commemorative walk-a-thon T-shirt. Help us reach our goal so we can help the animals and people of this area who need our vital community services.
