Emmie
Emmie is a social butterfly who's one requirement is owners who love to cuddle! Emmie is 3-4 years old and 38 pounds. She does well with other dogs, but isn't overly playful, so she'd do well with a calmer dog who likes short play sessions. She loves to chase tennis balls. Emmie adores people and would also flourish being your one and only, more attention for her! Emmie is heartworm positive and can only be adopted by a VT resident. Emmie has some teeth that may need to come out, and has an appointment on March 5th. She can be seen and adopted before this appointment.

Hazel
Hazel is 2-4 years old and 33 pounds. Hazel is on the shy side, but gains lots of confidence when around another dog, which is not surprising after living with 177 other dogs! Hazel needs a home with another playful doggy sibling to help ease her into the world she's missed out on. Hazel will do best in a home with patient teens or no children. She is a very sweet dog who will be a cuddly, lovable best friend once she settles into her new home. Hazel is heartworm positive and can only be adopted by a Vermont resident. We cover the treatment at our vet in Rutland. She also has a broken tooth and has an appointment on March 5th to see about removing it. She can be seen and adopted before this appointment.

Taylor
Meet Taylor — a handsome 9-year-old gentleman looking for a calm, loving home to spend his golden years in. Taylor came to us after his previous owner developed allergies, and he’s been taking the transition in stride while slowly settling into shelter life.
Taylor has experience living with cats, children, and dogs. He can peacefully coexist with dogs as long as they respect his space and don’t bother him too much. He’s currently adjusting to the other cats in his room and is making steady progress at his own pace.
This sweet boy absolutely loves food and soaking up attention from his people. Gentle pets and a cozy place to relax are some of his favorite things. Taylor has been indoor-only for the past few years, though he previously enjoyed indoor/outdoor life.
If you’re looking for a mellow companion with lots of love to give, Taylor may be the perfect addition to your family.

Get ready to be charmed by Sisi's infectious spirit! At 15 years old, Sisi has already faced his fair share of challenges, having been found during Hurricane Irene. Despite his mom's heart-wrenching decision to surrender him due to housing issues, Sisi's optimism shines through. This gentle soul has formed friendships with everyone he's met and has thrived in households with dogs, cats, and kids. He's the perfect addition to any loving home. Sisi dreams of finding a cozy haven where he can feel truly loved.
